Some wines act as a bridge. Joio is the estate’s signature cuvée—a wine that brings people together without ever resorting to the easy path. It draws on the grape varieties that thrive here: Grenache Noir, Syrah, and Rolle. It is born of well-established vines and carefully chosen vineyard sites, driven by a simple idea: to craft a wine that naturally invites conviviality.
This is the balance of Blacailloux captured in a glass. It offers generous fruit character, yet remains grounded by the freshness of the Sainte-Baume massif. Whether red, white, or rosé, the wine eschews flashy exuberance in favor of precise aromatic intensity and a clean structure.
For the red wines, cellar work is guided by the natural energy of gravity and the thermal inertia of concrete. The fruit is treated gently and preserved intact, never forced. The result is a caressing range of wines, carried by a mineral, savoury finish that embodies the strength of our Provençal terroir.
Joio doesn’t set out to prove anything — it sets out to be shared. This is the wine of long tables, of glasses meeting, of those moments when you finally feel whole, here and now. A cuvée of quiet integrity, with the taste of Provence.
