A Provençal getaway among vineyards, olive groves, and the garrigue
Time no longer really exists. Here in Tourves, at the foot of the Sainte-Baume massif, time has found a foothold. Blacailloux cannot be described—it is felt through the soles of your feet and the breath of the wind. Here, luxury begins with silence and space. At an altitude of 400 meters, the estate unfolds like a bubble, far from the hustle and bustle.
The estate spans 600 hectares of untamed Provence. It is a landscape of rolling hills and contrasts, where the air is crisper and the silence more profound. Here, nature is not merely a backdrop; it is a sovereign force that dictates its own rhythm.
Aleppo pines, arbutus trees, stone pines, and junipers form a mosaic of Mediterranean species, but in this wild realm, the holm oak reigns supreme.
This majestic forest surrounds our vineyards, providing a refuge for exceptional biodiversity that we preserve as our most precious asset. Blacailloux is a complete, living, and vibrant ecosystem. Among the rows of vines and olive groves, our bees produce honey that tastes of the mountains. Everything that grows on this land is certified organic.

We’re reaching out to those who’ve forgotten the smell of wet earth and the sound of silence. At Blacailloux, we disconnect to reconnect. We put down our phones. We stop checking the time. We become whole, simply present.
This is what we call “wild elegance”: a luxury that isn’t flaunted, but is experienced in the perfection of a single moment. A table set beneath the trees, Sainte-Baume as a backdrop, the clinking of glasses. Nothing more.
Altitude defines our style. Here, the day ripens the grapes and the night refines them. The temperature differences between day and night extend the ripening process and preserve freshness. In the glass, this translates to wines that are clean, straightforward, and unpretentious.
Bauxite—a red, iron-rich rock that outcrops in our clay-limestone soils—brings this unique saline character, a mineral nuance that lingers on the palate. From the Joio cuvée to the iconoclastic Aquino, our wines tell the story of the
Inland Provence: a land of tension and brilliance

Blacailloux is a place in constant motion. Our country estates welcome those seeking a sensory connection through understated, luxurious hospitality. Three country estates and twenty suites invite you to immerse yourself in the estate’s history. At the heart of the estate, La Table de Blacailloux offers fresh, simple, and accessible cuisine. The ingredients, sourced from within 30 km or directly from the estate, extend the ecosystem of the place. We dine outdoors, facing the vineyards, because we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Located in the heart of the Sainte-Baume Regional Nature Park, Blacailloux is mindful of its responsibility. We are the guardians of a fragile legacy. Our commitment to the environment goes beyond the organic certification. We have a clear goal: to become a positive-impact winery by 2030. We measure, compare, and improve every action we take to make this land more resilient for future generations. We are only passing through, but we want our time here to be meaningful. Blacailloux doesn’t just tell the story of Provence—it shows it. It’s an experience of being fully present, a timeless moment when you finally feel whole. An invitation to slow down, savor the silence that speaks, and feel the quiet strength of a preserved land.
