Work Differently, Breathe Better
Set 400 metres above sea level at the foot of the Sainte-Baume massif, Blacailloux hosts your corporate retreat in Provence, in the Var.
Our family-run wine estate is available for exclusive private hire for your board meetings, executive committees and incentive trips, across 600 hectares of unspoilt countryside, with four Provençal residences and several meeting rooms.
Sound, video, helipad, accommodation and catering all on site: our teams orchestrate your bespoke event at the heart of the Domaine de Blacailloux.
- A vibrant winery, perfect for your seminar in Provence -
Blacailloux is not an impersonal conference centre — it is a living, working wine estate that opens its doors to leadership teams seeking perspective, in a discreet setting where luxury meets nature.
Blacailloux’s reception and meeting spaces are spread across 600 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, and woodlands, away from the city and the coast. Designed for small, custom-tailored executive committee and board meetings, it also hosts day-long events for up to 200 seated guests and 300 for a cocktail reception, complete with professional catering, video and audio equipment, and fiber-optic internet.
Here are the meeting spaces available to you:
Good to know: At Blacailloux, no two seminars are ever the same. Each program is crafted like a unique story: a meeting at the Pavillon, collaborative workshops, a tasting break, a walk, a massage, or a mountain bike ride, followed by dinner in the vineyards, at the winery, or around a fire pit. This fully customized experience—from transportation from the train station to your return home—allows your committee to work more effectively, because they can finally relax.
The Raymond Chamoin Room seats 14 people for committee meetings, facing the restaurant’s terrace.
The Mezzanine opens onto the winery through a glass wall, making it ideal for workshops with 20 to 40 people.
The Salle des Lavandes can accommodate 70 employees in a theater-style setup, complete with a screen and a premium sound system.
The Salle des Voûtes can accommodate 200 people for plenary sessions, beneath a cathedral-like stone vaulted ceiling.
The Panoramic Terrace, offering a 360° view of the Provençal mountains, is the perfect spot for cocktails at sunset.
- Choose the format, share the values -
Our corporate retreat packages in the Var come in a range of formats: an intimate leadership or executive committee meeting with bespoke exclusive use of the estate, an away day, a strategy committee, an AGM, or a full company conference for up to 200 people.
Land Rover, Crédit Agricole, and Aspen Pharma have already chosen Blacailloux for their executive management meetings, strategic committees, press trips, and incentive events. The average length of a stay is around 2 to 3 days.
Companies committed to CSR also find that our framework aligns with their values. Blacailloux takes a comprehensive approach to CSR, which is reflected in several concrete decisions:
The vineyards, the olive grove, the olive oil, and the honey are certified organic.
Agroforestry and the consolidation of plots enhance the estate’s biodiversity.
Green roofs and semi-underground wine cellars minimize the buildings’ environmental footprint.
Blacailloux is participating in the Provence Cluster to promote the reuse of bottles in the circular economy.
In terms of social commitment, the Sœurs cuvée donates its profits to several charities working to defend women’s rights and combat violence against women.
- How a Custom Seminar at Blacailloux Unfolds -
Putting together your corporate retreat in Provence at Blacailloux is an entirely bespoke process: our professional teams take care of the logistics, transport and accommodation across the estate’s four residences.
The process comes down to just a few steps:
You outline your objectives, the size of your group and the length of your stay.
Our team offers a customized program that combines plenary sessions, workshops, and team-building activities.
We coordinate transfers from the train station, the airport, or via our private heliport.
On the big day, your employees will settle in, and the program will proceed with dedicated customer service.
- Stay in the heart of the vineyards, in a private country house -
Accommodation is part of the experience of a corporate retreat in Provence: for a leadership team, the estate is most often given over to you entirely, and your colleagues sleep at the heart of the vineyard, in four residences totalling 20 suites, including several twin rooms. Here is how our private residences are laid out : Every suite has a private bathroom, air conditioning and high-speed Wi-Fi.
Explore our bastides
La Bastide de la Julienne offers seven suites set around a 100 m² swimming pool and private terraces.
Le Hameau de Fontfresque brings together seven suites with an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a sauna and a gym.
La Bergerie d’Aquino houses five suites for smaller committees, in a cosy bastide.
Le Bastidon welcomes two guests in a single intimate suite, set among the vines and olive trees.
- The Art of Hospitality at Blacailloux, since 2024 -
Choosing Blacailloux for your corporate retreat in the Var means choosing an authentic Provençal art of hospitality. The Chamoin family has been tending this Var terroir since 1917, across four generations, and the estate is today led by Valentine de Lasteyrie and her sisters, great-granddaughters of the woman who founded it.
The wild elegance of the place can be savored everywhere: of the 600 hectares in the heart of the Sainte-Baume Regional Nature Park, only 100 are planted with vines; the rest has been left to nature, roamed by deer, hares, wild boars, and even a few foxes.
What we offer your teams:
Our experience in the field: We limit our activities to about ten seminars per year to ensure a warm welcome and confidentiality. Your team will feel right at home on the estate, without any interference from other events.
Exclusive use of the entire estate for your leadership and executive committees, with no other guests on site, across 600 hectares of wild, unspoilt countryside.
A comprehensive CSR approach that goes beyond organic certification alone: agroforestry, the circular economy, and short supply chains of less than 30 km to the table.
Rooms equipped with audio, video, high-speed Wi-Fi, and air conditioning, in a minimalist, unpretentious setting.
Adjustable capacity, from small executive committee meetings to conferences with 200 participants.
An indoor alternative is planned in case of bad weather.
Leading companies such as Land Rover, Crédit Agricole and Aspen Pharma have already held their retreats here.
Breathe, savor, reconnect
A corporate retreat in Provence also thrives on room to breathe. At Blacailloux, these special experiences take place in the heart of nature: a tour of the winery and a guided tasting, a blending workshop with the cellar master, cooking classes, electric mountain bike rides through the vineyards, or a massage in our wellness center, which features a herbal tea lounge, sauna, and fitness area.
When it comes to dining, La Table de Blacailloux welcomes your guests around a seasonal menu of local produce, created by Michelin-starred chef Ludovic Turac.
Blacailloux can accommodate seminars ranging from 14 people in small group sessions to 200 employees in plenary sessions. The Raymond Chamoin Room accommodates small groups, the Mezzanine is suitable for workshops of 20 to 40 people, the Salle des Voûtes hosts plenary sessions, and the Panoramic Terrace accommodates up to 300 guests for a cocktail reception.
To reach Blacailloux in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, it takes 45 minutes by car from Marseille and Toulon, and 30 minutes from Aix-en-Provence. The Aix-en-Provence TGV station is 40 minutes away, and Marseille Provence Airport is 50 minutes away. A private helipad on site allows for arrival by helicopter.
Team-building activities at the estate focus on the natural world: wine-tasting workshops, wine-blending workshops, grape-harvesting workshops in September, electric mountain bike tours with wine tastings, beekeeping workshops, cooking classes, tennis, and pétanque—all designed to foster team cohesion.
